Young Thug may still be behind bars, but his recent appearance in court has led him to become a trending topic.
The YSL head honcho had a court appearance for his upcoming RICO trial, and a recent picture of the Atlanta rapper has his fans talking about his apparent weight gain. In the image, the “Go Crazy” rapper is wearing a red shirt while sitting at a desk looking at a laptop.
Thugga has been incarcerated for over a year for his RICO case. His legal team has been pushing for his bond, citing that the rapper has been in poor health since being locked up. After several months of deliberation, the case progresses as the jury selection has just wrapped. Over 50 potential jurors were chosen to help determine if the rapper could go home a free man. The opening statements are slated to start later this month, on Nov. 27.
The rapper was arrested in 2022 as part of a 56-count indictment RICO case. The case was paused in the beginning months to handle another YSL affiliate’s murder charge from a different case.
