Young Fan Gets Emotional While Meeting 50 Cent Backstage For The First Time

A young fan who attended a 50 Cent concert got to meet the Queens MC in a heartwarming moment recorded backstage.

On Saturday, the Instagram pages for the “Final Lap” tour, and Thisis50.com shared a clip of Fif greeting the excited youngster for a photo opportunity.

Dressed in a bulletproof vest, sideways baseball cap and white doo-rag, just like 50 Cent wore on the cover of his 2003 classic album Get Rich Or Die Tryin, the young man is visibly emotional as the rapper smiles and laughs while encouraging him to come closer.

The two pose for the cameras as the child tearfully tells Fif, “I love you so much,” before revealing that he got the tickets for his birthday.

He wasn’t the only young superfan who celebrated their birthday with a trip to the G-Unit founder’s tour. On Aug. 15, the “21 Questions” artist posted a video of an elated 9-year-old being given VIP tickets for his gift.

“This is the coolest video I’ve seen online it made my day,” he wrote in the caption.

The edited clip continues to show the young man dressed like Fif, complete with arm tattoos and a gold chain, excitedly rapping along at the concert. The uplifting moment comes in the midst of bad news for the rapper. At a tour stop in Los Angeles on Wednesday, 50 Cent hurled a faulty microphone off the stage, which allegedly struck Power 106 radio host Bryhana Monegain in the head.

Although TMZ reported that Monegain filed a police report and 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, was named a suspect for criminal battery, no arrest has been made at this time.

His attorney, Scott Leemon, told the outlet that “Curtis would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone.”
