Yo Gotti is furthering his education by pursuing a degree in business.
The CMG head honcho will be hitting the books by taking a business course at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Gotti plans to take his entrepreneurial skills to the next level by being a part of a program ranked in the top 20 of U.S. News & World Report’s best business schools of the 2023-2024 school year.
The Memphis rapper is enrolled in the Anderson School of Management, where he is taking the ‘Corporate Valuation’ course focuses on analytical tools ideal for valuing a variety of business ventures, like projects, mergers, private firms, and debt.
Yo Gotti isn’t a stranger when it comes to handling business. The 42-year-old rapper founded Collective Music Group in 2012, which is home to Moneybagg Yo, GloRilla, 42 Dugg, EST Gee, and Blac Youngsta. The collective dropped Gangsta Art 2: Reloaded in September with 20 songs. It featured guest appearances from Sexxy Red, Fivo Foreign, and others. The artist just wrapped up their four-city CMG Gangsta Art tour.
The “Rake It Up” emcee had the internet talking when he brought out his girlfriend, Angela Simmons, to the stage. The pair have been together for some time now and have shared their relationship on social media through a series of flicks over the last year.
Aside from his public relationship and his music, Gotti is co-owner of the professional men’s soccer club D.C. United. The 42-year-old also owns Memphis restaurant Prive.
