YK Osiris Accused of Running Out On A $20K Watch Bill

When running off on the plug goes wrong! YK Osiris was accused of a shady watch purchase. The R&B crooner allegedly ran out of money on a $20,000 bill for an Audemars Piguet timepiece that he had promised to purchase.

Celebrity jeweler Seth Grossman, the individual behind the claim, revealed the details to TMZ

The prominent jeweler revealed that he gained Osiris as a client from a mutual connection to Sean Kingston, with whom he frequently worked with.

After expressing interest in purchasing the 39mm Automatic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watch, Osiris agreed to buy the watch from Grossman before the COVID-19 pandemic. Grossman claimed that Osiris took the watch with the goal of sending a total payment of $20,000. However, after giving him the runaround for years, Grossman claimed that he never received one payment for the watch.

According to Hip-Hop Wired, in an attempt to reach an agreement, the 24-year-old allegedly presented a number of excuses explaining why the 20,000 dollars was never paid. According to Grossman, Osiris initially told him that Kingston was responsible for returning the watch. The jeweler later revealed that the singer claimed his father stole it.

Seth is still considering taking legal action, especially after witnessing the suspected individual flaunting his new gold grill earlier this summer.

As for YK Osiris, he was dropped from his label Def Jam last year. According to TMZ, the artist’s contract was voided in Dec. 2022. Although the separation was apparently cordial, it came on right on top of a difficult moment for the “Worth It” singer.

Last month, we saw his very public controversy that nearly led to his cancellation after kissing rapper/social media star Sukihana without her consent at an event. In the aftermath, the R&B artist let his emotions run wild while promoting his “Dear Fans” single.
