Waka Flocka Flame is sparking much online debate after he announced that he’s endorsing Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election.
The “No Hands” rapper shared his support on his X, formerly known as Twitter for the former president.
“TRUMP2024,” the Atlanta rapper simply wrote in his post, it garnered more than 3 million views.
The post ignited many online users expressing their concerns for Waka’s endorsement. Just as users voiced disapproval of his decision, the replies also consisted of support.
Although many were appalled by the 37-year-old’s message, it’s important to know that this is the first time he’s publicly backed Trump. In 2020, the “Hard In Da Paint” hitmaker suggested that Trump was better at his job of being president than former president Barack Obama.
Waka was also a recipient of an award from Donald Trump back in 2021. He accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award for his philanthropic work and volunteering with a non-profit in Chicago.
He’s the latest rapper to announce his support for the former president. “Pound Town” MC Sexyy Red spoke out in support of Trump as well this year.
