Donald Trump has been making headlines for weeks now. His viral mug shot set his popularity in motion. Trump entered a not-guilty plea for RICO charges and charges for faking votes in the 2020 election.

Trump is still in the talks of running for President in the 2024 election. Kenneth Chesebro requested that they have a speedy trial, but Trump’s lawyer, Steve Sadow, told the public that he would not have enough time to prepare.

“Respectfully, requiring less than two months preparation time to defend a 98-page indictment, charging 19 defendants, with 41 various charges including a RICO conspiracy charges with 161 Overt Acts … would violate President Donald Trump’s federal and state constitutional rights to a fair trial and due process of law,” he said.

Trump waived his rights to appear before the judge as he pleaded not guilty. He alleges that his doings were completely legal and that the charges against him are to discredit his work as President. The trial is said to be filmed live for all the nation to see. Members of the White House are now trying to keep Trump from running for President again.

They plan to disqualify Donald Trump from the 2024 presidential election under Section 3 of the constitutional 14th Amendment. According to ABC News, the disqualification of his presidency, which states that an elected official is not eligible to assume public office if that person “engaged in insurrection or rebellion against” the United States or had “given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof,” unless a two-thirds vote of Congress grants them amnesty.”

Many people are against him running for President again, and others want him to win for various reasons. The vote right now is split between people wanting him to win or lose.
