6ix9ine broke his silence following his recent arrest in the Dominican Republic, and thanked his fans for their support.
The Brooklyn native took to Instagram to thank his fanbase after he was arrested after assaulting two producers on Oct. 15.
“First I want to thank God that I am in good health and well cared for, and thank you to everyone who has me in prayer.” he wrote in Spanish.
“Thank you for your support, I love you very much. I feel so happy seeing you in full support. The same day I get out of jail, I want to give them a little gift for the neighborhood of Vega,” he added.
“I’m going to give you a free concert in Vega with Romo and everything [will be] for free. Thank you for your support. I’ll give it back. I love you,” he continued.
According to the controversial rapper, he claimed that the source of the recorded attack was in response to the victims allegedly “disrespected” his new girlfriend, Yailin La Mas.
A warrant for his arrest was immediately issued after recorded footage of 6ix9ine and his entourage allegedly assaulted the victims, according to TMZ. He was arrested at the Hotel Balcones del Atlantico in Sanchez, Dominican Republic.
According to the controversial rapper, he stated that the victims allegedly “disrespected” his new girlfriend, Yailin La Mas.
After the altercation that was captured on camera, he allegedly tried to leave the Dominican Republic.
Diario Libre claims that when 6ix9ine’s new girlfriend, and singer, Yailin La Mas, and Diamond La Mafia were recording a song in the studio, after 6ix9ine allegedly inquired about her presence and couldn’t find her he and his crew allegedly attacked the producer.
According to La Mafia, he believed that 6ix9ine was allegedly jealous that his girlfriend was working with other men.
It is noted that the cause that warranted the beat down is contradicting at this time, according to HotNewHipHop.
6ix9ine made headlines for prior arrests earlier this year, back in Aug. he was arrested in Palm Beach County, FL. after he failed to make a court appearance in connection to three traffic tickets.
