Was Tasha K trying to warn us about Remy Ma and Eazy Da Block Captain months ago?
Media personality Tasha K recently accused Remy Ma of allegedly cheating on her husband, Papoose with battle rapper, Eazy Da Block Captain. As the rumor continued to grow larger and larger, the media personality released an image of the alleged couple in an intimate setting.
“I told y’all that Remy Ma and Papoose are done,” she said. “I told yall that Papoose put hands on that little boy she’s messing with, because he’s a little boy, that’s not a grown man. Remy damn there 45, ok? Remy damn there 45 years old, this little boy works for her. He is trying to get a come up in rap. Remy Ma and Papoose were supposed to own this company together and Remy Ma ends up sleeping, and I’m gonna say allegedly with the help.”
“I got a call the day when Papoose ran up on that little boy and beat his ass. I just got a picture that I posted on tashaklive.com,” she continued.
The married couple met through the late DJ Kay Slay in 2004, and the two tied the knot back in 2008 while she was serving time for a shooting incident. They share one child together.
The rumors of the alleged love affair began swirling during the summer, sending not only fans but the whole battle rap scene in total disarray after rumors began floating around of the two men getting into a physical altercation. Many speculate that Eazy was allegedly knocked out by the “Alphabetical Slaughter” rapper. However, Remy squashed the rumor on Saturday, June 24.
In addition to the image of the alleged secret couple was released online, Eazy and Geechi exchanged heated words during their Chrome 23 freestyle event that the Bronx native hosted. The bars were the catalyst that added fuel to the fire.
Geechi addressed the cheating scandal while she was present on stage, ultimately shocking not only battle rap fans but social media in general.
“’I don’t give a **** if you’re ******* this *****, just tell him to stop screwing the business… y’all the poster child symbol for Black love… every interview he show his admiration and tell the world how he think his woman the greatest… ***** he held you down in prison for six years, I know it was not nice, he cried big tears, he stood by you by your biggest accomplishments front row giving you big cheers. Man you got a beautiful baby girl who is also amazing. He’ll be damned if he lose you to this bozo in braces… Listen he took you out to the best foods, when you ain’t feeling good he put you back in the best moods,” Geechie rapped in front of Remy.
Eazy responded with an interesting bar that also gained social media’s attention.
“You see the skies written in digital like an email i prevail/ this whole year my career done try to derail/ wanna know who I’m ******* in the game, you wanna know the details? **** keep this on the DL. If you heard a ***** did something to me over a female and he ain’t dead, it’s probably because I still got the female,” Eazy spat back.
This isn’t the first time Geechi discussed the rumor. According to an episode of battle rapper Geechi Gotti’s No Studio’n, which aired on June 21, he gave commentary about the alleged fight.
“All we was hearing was ‘yo, yo,yo,’ ‘Eazy, Eazy, Eazy.’ Eazy hit the floor, Eazy got dropped,” he said. “Before even Twitter, I was hearing the whispers. They talking bout they knocked out the bull, yo Geechi come check it out.”
After the battle rap was over, Remy finally addressed the two-month-old rumor during a recent interview.
“Listen it’s battle rap. I knew when I got in here. I done been to a thousand battles. Seen the battle of turn, say something to me, say something to smack, like so I’m used to it so. It’s a real spectacle, it’s not the first time somebody has said my name… It’s battle rap. It’s cool. I like it,” she said.
