T.I.s Son King Harris Under Fire For Paying Homeless Man To Do ‘One Chip Challenge’

T.I.’s son, King Harris, is facing backlash for his involvement in a recent social media trend where he enlisted a homeless man to join in.

The rising rapper thought it would be cool to offer a homeless man a spicy Paqui chip as part of the “One Chip Challenge”. In a video shared online, King tells the man that he’ll get $50 if he eats the chip without drinking water for the next 5 minutes.

The man seen in the video partaking in the social media trend struggled with the heat of the chip and reached for a bottle of water. But continued the challenge as King and his friends seemed to be entertained.

“It makes it harder with that water in ya hand,” Harris said to the man. “You gon’ lose if you drink it.”

Even though the man failed the challenge by needing a drink of water, the 19-year-old rapper still gave him $20 for participating. Although it was fun and games for Harris, not everyone looked at it that way.

The “One Chip Challenge” social media trend has faced much controversy in recent weeks. According to NBC News, Paqui has removed chips from stores after a Massachusetts mother says her 14-year-old son died after taking part in the challenge.
