Seven years after the death of A$AP Mob member A$AP Press, there has been justice for the murder.

The New York State Supreme Court found Chester Taylor and Darius Hastings guilty of murder after shooting Press in the back of his head. The pair were convicted of second-degree murder, first-degree assault, and two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. Both were sentenced to 20 years to life in state prison.

In the summer of 2016, A$AP Press contacted Taylor through a mutual friend regarding using a car for a video shoot. Taylor revealed to the Harlem native that he could rent two vehicles for $1,000, which Press took care of most of the cost upfront. After covering most of the rental fee, Press expected the cars, but Taylor never dropped off any of the vehicles.

A$AP Press would reach out to Taylor, but in the end, he would brush him off and not get back to him. Taylor eventually got frustrated with his consistent attempts and threatened the A$AP mob member. Things went left when Taylor contacted his friend Hastings after he felt annoyed that the rapper was pressing him.
The two men would later shoot the Harlem native in the head in 2016. The rapper died from a seizure two years later caused by a head injury he suffered from the shooting.
