As the buzz surrounding Keke Palmer’s trip to Las Vegas to see an Usher concert dies down, the Grammy Award-winning singer and Primetime Emmy Award-winning actress team up to capitalize on their viral moment. 

On Tuesday, the pair posted a video to their respective Instagram and Twitter accounts, previewing the visuals for a new song titled “Boyfriend.” The 15-second clip doesn’t reveal much but does push the envelope with the sole song lyric heard over the dance track.

“Somebody said that your boyfriend’s looking for me,” Usher sings, while Palmer can be seen in what appears to be a night out reminiscent of their brief encounter weeks ago.

“When fantasies become reality..” the Atlanta vocalist captioned the provocative post.

This collaboration stems from Usher’s “My Way” residency in Sin City. A video of Usher singing “There Goes My Baby,” a song that hit number one on the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Charts, to the “Nope” star while she wore a see-through dress went viral, sparking a tidal wave of engagement online.

Palmer’s boyfriend, Darius Jackson, who is also the father of her almost six-month-old son, responded by sharing his displeasure with her choice of attire.

“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he began. “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”

Rumors that the incident prompted their breakup have not been confirmed. However, the pair have unfollowed one another on social media, and Jackson deleted all photos of Palmer from his Instagram page. 

Usher hasn’t given much validity to the negativity surrounding the moment, summing it up to PEOPLE as “just really having a good time in Las Vegas.” 

The music video is scheduled to be released on Wednesday.
