In relation to rumors that Rod Wave cheated on his girlfriend, Kelsey “Dee” Coleman, the Florida artist has slammed bloggers for spreading fake cheating rumors!
In a series of photos he shared on his Instagram story on Monday, Aug. 21, the R&B singer put an end to the rumors that he had cheated on his girlfriend and mother of his two children. He checked the bloggers responsible for the allegations.
“Fame shit lame, square-ass blog n-ggas even worse,” he said. “Anybody can say yo name how they want to and blog sites jus gone spread it to da world and ppl believe it. Shit not fair, don’t even care who y’all hurt wit dat sh*t. I never say nun back to y’all ass but y’all went way to far wit dat cheating sh*t.”
He continued.
“Lie after lie after lie bra an i feel like since ion never say nun y’all jus get away wit da sh*t.”
As the “Pray 4 Love” crooner expressed the downfall of fame, it was apparent that fans weren’t feeling his message to the bloggers.
“I can never tell if these artist bein fr or just tryna promo. He could’ve said this a while ago,” one person commented.
Another Instagram user said, “OR YOU COULD OF MADE/MAKE CHRISTIAN MUSIC AND HAVE A HIGHER CHANCE OF LOOKING FOR THE CONSIDERATION AND COMPASSION THIS BOY LOOKING FOR. THATS LIKE PURSUING N BEING A FOOTBALL PLAYER AND YOU NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY INJURIES ARE HAPPENING. IT’S APART OF THE GAME.”
Another person flat-out told the Florida native, “no one told him to be famous- sounds like a personal problem.”
However, Bronx rapper Lil TJay came to Rod Wave’s defense and shared his two cents via an Instagram story.
“Internet dead lieee on my name about mad s**t fr nd it’s neverrrrrr positive smh,” Lil Tjay said.
The cheating rumors followed an altercation between Rod Wave’s father and Moneybagg Yo. Recently, the Memphis rapper was the target of severe accusations made by Rod Wave’s father, Rodney “Fatz” Green. Green claims that Moneybagg Yo threatened to shoot him after asking to borrow a lighter.
Do you think Rod Wave made the right decision to check the bloggers, or do you believe that rumors come with the fame?
