The family created by Rihanna and A$AP Rocky has officially grown by one.
On Monday, TMZ reported that the pop star gave birth to the couple’s second son on Aug. 3 in Los Angeles. The news was later confirmed by both Entertainment Tonight and People.
The pregnancy announcement came shortly after the “Unapologetic” singer performed at the Super Bowl LVII halftime show, with a noticeable belly that set social media on fire with speculation.
So far, the newborn’s name is not yet known. However, a source confirmed that the name starts with the letter ‘R.’ Their first son, 15-month-old RZA, is named after the Wu-Tang Clan leader. A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was given his name as a homage to one half of the duo Eric B. & Rakim.
For now, the couple plans to “spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye and won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby.”
