Post Malone Accused Of Physically And Emotionally Abusing Ex-Girlfriend In New Lawsuit

Post Malone must now face a lawsuit and physical abuse allegations after his split with his former girlfriend.

According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, a law company named Martorell Law has filed a lawsuit against the “White Iverson” artist, born Austin Richard Post, and his ex-girlfriend, Ashlen Diaz, of three years. The Los Angeles-based law firm claimed they initially assisted in negotiations with the courts about her palimony.

“During the course of my representation of Ms. Diaz, Ms. Diaz informed me that she suffered from acts of domestic abuse during her dating relationship with Defendant Post, which I now believe to be related to Ms. Diaz’s breach of the contingency fee agreement,” Eduardo Martorell, the company’s founding partner argued. “Ms. Diaz provided me with photographs and text messages with Defendant Post and information relating to Defendant Post’s abuse.”

Despite not being married to Post, Diaz suggested compensation from their relationship after the couple’s 2018 breakup and assured her legal team a guaranteed portion of the settlement.

The 28-year-old argued that the firm’s motion for damages be dismissed because it is “frivolous, unreasonable, or without foundation.”

Post is accused of abusing his ex emotionally and physically, and Martorell claims that he “pressured and coerced Diaz” into releasing her attorney for an alleged secret payment of $350k.

“It simply cannot be the case that one of the world’s most powerful celebrities with a documented history of physical and emotional abuse towards his romantic partner uses his power and money to deprive her of legal representation and, in doing so, blatantly interferes with a contingency fee agreement robbing her attorney from being paid and gets away with it scot-free,” Martorell said.

Back in March, Post reportedly blew off a court deposition, according to HipHopDX. The law firm submitted new paperwork requesting a default judgment against Post for $787,027.60 for failing to respond.
