Paul Wall has social media praising his new look.

The “Sittin Sidewayz” rapper posted a video of himself talking about a football game in Houston that he went to and performed at, but the focus of the post was his appearance. 

“Boy, I had fun at the Texas game yesterday, man,” Wall said in the clip. “Tough loss, definitely a tough loss, but man, did we have fun in that sweep, bro, let me tell you. I walked all over that situation.”

The Houston rap legend captioned the TikTok video “1st off, why my face look like the old man filter, we had a lot of fun yesterday, halftime with @LouieTheSinger and watching the @HoustonTexans.”

Shortly after the veteran rapper shared the video, he became a trending topic online. Becoming one of the top ten trends on X at one point. Wall showed off his haircut earlier this year, but it seems as if fans are just now noticing the transformation, and it caught many by surprise. Fans have already come up with a name phrase to use when referencing the Texas native. They’re calling it Paul Wall’s ‘Silver Fox Era’.

TMZ caught up with the rapper following the social media attention. He admitted that he used to feel insecure about his gray hair.

“My grandfather had a full head of gray hair when he was 18 years old, so growing up, I always knew it was coming,” the 42-year-entertainer said. “It started off with a little hair here and there in my chain.”
