Nicki Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday 2’ Earns Gold Certification And Breaks Spotify Record

Nicki Minaj’s latest album has already broken records and earned a gold certification!

Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 has already garnered significant success two days after its release. It broke Spotify’s record for the biggest debut of an album by a female Hip Hop artist and earned a Gold certification.

“Barbz, Look,” she tweeted the celebratory news with her dedicated Barbz fanbase.

According to Chart Data, Pink Friday 2 has already reached Gold as it sold 500K units and is projected to sell 170-190K units within its first week.

As Barbz globally listened to Pink Friday 2 moments after its release, they took to social media and speculated that the Queen dissed Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion and Latto.

I still got the juice, bitch, buy a sippie/I will never slippy like a Mickey/Stay in your Tory lane, bitch, I’m not Iggy,” Minaj rapped on the second verse on the album’s third track entitled “FTCU.”

Genius argues that Minaj was subtly shading her rival Cardi B when she made reference to the date rape drug. The second female rapper who fell victim to Minaj’s disses was H-town rapper Megan Thee Stallion, who was shot in the feet by Tory Lanez back in 2020.

The last rapper Minaj had allegedly dissed on Pink Friday 2, according to the Barbz, was Latto. Nicki Minaj took to Instagram and announced a 2024 world tour as the Queens rapper continued to seize the big moment.

“It’s time for the #GagCity TOUR. So excited to see you guys,” she exclaimed.

The Pink Friday 2 tour will kick off at Oakland’s Oakland Arena on March 1 of next year. She will stop in Las Vegas, Florida, Atlanta, New York, Brooklyn, Ontario, London, Paris and Berlin.

Congratulations to Nicki Minaj on this accomplishment!
