A man is taking the Nelk Boys to court after being caught in a prank by the YouTube personalities, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

Nicholas Aliff, a marijuana delivery driver, is suing the Nelk Boys for assault and battery, false imprisonment and emotional distress after what he thought was a routine delivery turned into a prank involving a fake drug bust. 

The video, which premiered on the popular YouTube channel in October of 2021 and currently has over 6 million views, shows Aliff attempting to drop off of the delivery to the warehouse location set up to resemble a meth lab. An actor portraying a police officer arrives shortly afterward, reaching for a holstered weapon and ordering everyone to lay on the ground. The Nelk Boys stage a bribe to the officer while blaming the meth lab on the delivery driver. 

When Aliff realizes he’s been pranked, a physical altercation occurs between him and a security guard. He also threatened to return after retrieving a firearm from his vehicle. In the heated verbal exchange, Aliff also promised to file a lawsuit.  

He has made good on the later threat, citing genuine fear that he could be shot by the cop impersonator.

So far, The Nelk Boys have not commented on the pending litigation.
