A video surfaced of a fan being punched by rapper Nardo Wick’s security guard. The rapper is now under police investigation for the brutal attack. Nardo Wick issued an apology to the public and to the victim of the attack.
“I don’t condone what happened to my fan George after my show in any time of way, I expressed to him and his mama how sorry and concerned I was that it happened to him multiple times before anything was ever posted or on the internet,” he wrote.
“I sent his mama my number instantly the night it happened. I was even gone make a post to try to find out who he was before his mama text me. I can’t control another grown man actions,” he continued.
He continued and said that he was unaware that this would happen, and he did not know his bodyguard would react this way.
The fan was treated at a hospital and had been treated for a severe concussion. Tampa PD became involved and commented on the incident.
“On Monday, Nov. 27, 2023, at approximately 1:17 a.m., following a concert at Club Skye (1509 E. 8th Ave), an adult male victim, attempted to approach the performer for a photo, when individuals who appear to be affiliated with the performer punched the victim,” the Tampa Police Department said.
“Immediately following the incident, the victim was transported to a hospital located outside of the county, where the report was later made. Following the report being filed on Nov. 27, 2023, Tampa Police immediately began their investigation. At this time, the victim remains in critical but stable condition.” The officer continued.
The police officers are currently trying to identify the suspect in the assault case. Meanwhile, the mother of the victim is upset that this happened to her son. She alleged that her child was the sweetest and just wanted to take a picture with his favorite artist.
