Moneybagg Yo was caught off guard by a lawsuit from two years ago when he was presented with the paperwork during an autograph signing.
The Memphis rapper shared a moment with his fans, allowing them to see the rapper up close and personal while promoting his Del Dita Tequila brand. During the signing event, things got awkward for the CMG artist, and he was approached by a woman claiming to be a process server who would then toss papers on the table before walking off.
“You’ve been served.” the unnamed woman said while she handed over the paperwork while recording. “Have a good one.”
The alleged court documents are believed to stem from a situation in 2021 when he failed to make a music festival appearance. The concert occurred in Baton Rouge with several other performers, including Rod Wave. Moneybagg Yo would later share online to his fans that he was unable to attend due to problems with the private jet.
