Moneybagg Yo Calls ‘Big Cap’ On Rumors He Throws Fake Money At His Concert

Moneybagg Yo had something to get off his chest after some unpleasant accusations regarding ‘money’.

Rumors have spread that the Memphis MC threw out counterfeit cash during his St. Louis tour stop. But the 31-year-old rapper doesn’t at all want the fake money allegations affiliated with him whatsoever; after all, his stage name would be a contradiction.

“Y’all just wanna say my name for anything I see, I might throw ones, but ion care how much money I got I’m not throwing out real or fake hunnids,” Moneybagg posted to his Instagram. “Wrong man, sh** big Capp !!”

Moneybagg wants it to be known that if he’s making it rain during his show, expect those bills to be official, but don’t expect any hundred-dollar bills. The fake money claims originated when a woman in St. Louis recorded herself explaining how she bought Moneybagg Yo tickets for her son to see the rapper. In the video, she says that fake money was thrown and even held up the counterfeit bills to the camera to prove her point.

The “Said Sum” rapper is on his Larger Than Life tour with upcoming shows in Denver Atlanta, and wraps up in his hometown, Memphis, in September.
