Megan Thee Stallion’s full victim statement against Tory Lanez has come to light.
Rumors had circulated that a statement from the H-Town Hottie was delivered in the Los Angeles courts before Lanez received a 10-year prison sentence earlier this month. Reporter Meghann Cuniff shared the written statement via Twitter on Thursday, Aug. 17.
“At first, he tried to deny the shooting ever happened. Then he attempted to place the blame on my former best friend. In his tantrum of lies, he’s blamed the system. Blamed the press.”

“I want you to know that since I was viciously shot by the defendant a little over three years ago, I have not experienced a single day of peace,” Meg revealed. “I have been tormented and terrorized in every degree by the defendant. He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma. He tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul.”
Born Megan Pete, she went on to state that Lanez harassed her, calling the shooting a “mockery” in his tweets, music, and related music videos.
In her follow-up explanation, she stated that Lanez “lied to anyone that would listen and paid bloggers to disseminate false information about the case on social media.”
The “Savage” rapper also mentioned his release of music videos and songs that were aimed to “damage my character and continue his crusade.”
“Mercy can only be granted to those who accept responsibility for their actions. But not once has the defendant taken accountability,” she said.
She continued.
“Today I beg this court to send a message to every victim of domestic violence and fully hold the defendant accountable for his criminal conduct,” she said. “This is a statement for all survivors that their lives matter and there is zero tolerance for the torture that accompanies violence. His crime warrants the full weight of the law. Thank you, your honor.”
According to “Vulture,” the first time Megan Thee Stallion publicly identified Lanez or anybody else as her shooter was on Aug. 20, 2020, when she claimed that he was the gunman who shot her in the foot after a pool party on July 12, 2020, at Kylie Jenner’s residence.
After the two got into a fight in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills while leaving Jenner’s residence, Lanez allegedly “personally inflicted great bodily injury” on Megan, causing injuries to both of her feet for which she sought medical attention.
“He was holding the gun pointing at me,” the GRAMMY award-winning artist stated.
She stated that afterward, he yelled “dance b—-” and discharged his gun, hitting both of her feet.
Many of Tory Lanez’s acquaintances have testified on his behalf, including 76 letters of support, as the sentencing judge prepared for the sentencing hearing.
Among his supporters were Lanez’s fellow inmates; in that group, a police chief, a doctor who has treated Lanez for hair loss, and rapper Iggy Azalea.
