Kodak Black shared a photo on Instagram of his lawyer calling out fake supporters. In recent news, Ray J spoke out about how he felt Kodak needed help due to spiraling in several interviews.
“Yo @wack100, let’s figure out how we can help this guy instead of watching him self-destruct,” Ray J wrote.
Ray J also wrote how he had been embarrassed by Kodak Black’s behavior at a Mar A Largo fundraiser event. At this event, Kodak went up to Donald Trump and allegedly “did the most,” according to Ray J.
The rapper’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, spoke out to defend his client. The lawyer stated how few people showed up for Kodak when he was being detained by law enforcement.
“Let me make this clear: any of these people that are being vocal about their “concern” were nowhere to be found when Kodak needed their support for a pardon,” he wrote. “… He was getting tortured in a max prison and not a word from all these concerned ind.”
Cohen listed all the celebrities who reached out to see how the rapper was doing. Some of the list included rappers like Lil Yachty, Wack100, Fat Joe and Yo Gotti. It has been noted that Kodak was allegedly being tortured in the facility where he was being held.
Kodak Black and former President Donald Trump have formed a special bond since the former President pardoned the rapper of his crimes. Trump decided to pardon the rapper for helping and giving back to his community.
“He has committed to supporting a variety of charitable efforts, such as providing educational resources to students and families of fallen law enforcement officers and the underprivileged,” officials said.
