Kim Kardashian decided to take on the case of C-Murder in the summer of 2020. C-Murder, known as Corey Miller, has been facing this conviction since 2003.
Kim alleged that lead detectives and multiple witnesses mishandled the case. Now she is making an effort to make things right, saying that he was falsely accused of a crime he did not commit.
Kim went on to tweet.
“Rather than search for the real perpetrator of the crime, the local sheriff’s office zeroed in on proving a case against Mr. Miller. The lead detective harassed multiple witnesses and mishandled the case to such a degree that the trial court had no choice but to grant Mr. Miller a new trial after he was convicted in 2003,” she said on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

Miller, Master P’s brother has spent 21 years in prison for a crime he says he did not commit. According to Complex, Miller went on a hunger strike earlier this year, saying that the prison system is “inhumane”.
“I have been fighting for my health and freedom against this wrongful conviction and simultaneously fighting for my constitutional rights that were stripped away and violated by the penal system of Louisiana,” he continued to say.
George Thomas, the victim’s brother, shared his thoughts with TMZ.
“Whenever a celebrity such as Kim Kardashian advocates for C-Murder, it’s like reopening the same wound that cut the family so deep years ago,” Thomas said.
The victim, Steve Thomas, was killed on Jan. 12, 2002, at Harvey, Louisiana’s Platinum Club. A witness in the case told law enforcement that Steve and C-Murder got into an argument and the C-Murder pulled out a firearm and shot a minor. No one seems to be asking the question of why the minor was at a Louisiana club in the first place. Along with the question of why he was arguing with C-Murder, allegedly leading to his untimely death.
