Ye may be in even more hot water following this fashion choice. 

According to The Daily Mail, the 46-year-old rapper and fashion designer was recently accused of breaching an Italian law after he sported a face mask during his stay in the country. 

According to the publication, wearing of things that “hampers an individual’s identification” is prohibited under Italian anti-terror and public order regulations and is punishable by a fine of up to 2000 Euros. It is undetermined if Ye will face an investigation for wearing face masks during his six-week vacation. He was caught wearing face coverings in cities such as Milan, Florence, and Venice, where he and his wife, Bianca Censori, attended fashion week. 

On Friday, the latest time he was seen wearing one, the rapper turned a t-shirt into a makeshift mask that covered everything except his eyes.

West is no stranger to rocking masks; he has a long history of wearing face masks throughout his career. According to Yeezy Mafia, he began wearing them during his Yeezus tour in 2014. The site claimed that he wore various masks designed by Maison Margiela, one of his preferred high-end clothing brands. During his six-week vacation, the couple was in hot water with Italy’s law enforcement several times.

The couple first caught the country’s attention after they were in “indecent exposure” after the paparazzi snapped pictures of Ye’s butt crack. At the same time, the couple was caught in an NSFW act in a water taxi on Sept. 8. Ye was seen sitting down with his butt exposed while his wife’s head was in his lap; the incident prompted an investigation. They are “no longer welcome” to use the water taxi service in the future. At the same time, Elisabetta Pesce, Public security councilor, condemned the couple for displaying a “lack of respect” for the city.

The second incident that caught significant backlash took place in Florence. The couple was again accused of indecent exposure after Censori’s nipples were exposed and West’s butt crack made another grand appearance.
