Kai Cenat has been in the news more and more lately. Recently, he has been all over the news for a riot that started on Friday. Cenat and the AMP team decided to do a giveaway and invited followers to come and support their giveaway.
The AMP pop-up resulted in a large riot. Cars were being destroyed, food trucks were being stolen and people in the crowd were being beaten.
In a recent Twitch stream, Cenat discussed his disappointment with the AMP fan base. He started off the video with stating that there was a lot of news media and boomers in the live to record his reaction.
Cenat continued talking to his fans, saying it had been his “dream to wanna give back to the community.” He goes on to thank his fans for the position he is in. Cenat realizes the amount of power he has and wants to use it for good.
Mr. Cenat showed the livestream how disappointed he was with their actions.
“Bro, beyond disappointed in anybody who became disruptive that day, bro. 100%, that sh*t is not cool,” he said.
He also acknowledged and took responsibility that he needs to do better and plan for pop-ups like this accordingly. Cenat said if he decides to do this again, he will hit up the right people to ensure everyone’s safety. He mentioned that he has upcoming court dates and will not continue streaming for a while. He has been charged with one felony for first degree rioting, causing public injury and damage. He was also charged with two misdemeanors for inciting a riot and unlawful assembly.
He ended the stream with a prayer for all the people involved and injured in the riot. He prayed that people think about the things they’ve done to better themselves and begin to change their ways.
