Jacksonville’s Julio Foolio is sharing his current health update after it was reported that he was shot in his hometown.
The Jacksonville rapper took to social media to share his health update with fans after he was shot in the foot while in his hometown.
“Yall know he good,” the caption read.
According to First Coast News, Foolio, born Charles Jones, was reportedly a target of a shooting on Saturday, Oct. 7. According to law enforcement, the shooting took place in proximity to the 3100 block of 18th Street, a residential area of Jacksonville.
Although he sustained a gunshot wound to the arch of his foot, his Black Dodge Challenger was covered in bullet holes. His family took to social media to share the news as the rumors began to surface online.
“Keep Foolio, my son, in y’all prayers he was shot last night in his hating city,” the Instagram story read.
Jones has refused to help the police investigate the shooting as the image of his injury surfaced online, according to HipHopDX. It is unclear what the motive behind the shooting is at this time.
In 2021, Jones claimed to escape death after he shared that he was the target of a shooting. He informed his fans that he was only grazed by a singular bullet after he “dodged 100 shots.”
“On treyd I got right in slides emptyed my whole clip u boys goofies I’m not dead so stop fakin for the internet,” he said.
He shared that he sustained a gunshot wound to his ankle. However, he shot back in self-defense. He credited voodoo and magic as the source of protecting his life. The year before, he was also a target of another shooting that took place in Houston. The incident was used as a source of lyrics in his enemy, Yungeen Ace’s “Who I Smoke” track.
