Popular YouTube news channel Law & Crime accidentally recorded footage of the juror’s face in the proceedings. Social Media took notice of this slip-up and continued to repost it on places like Twitter and Instagram.

Judge Glanville was upset at the fact that the faces of his jurors were exposed to the media and requested only audio during the proceedings.

The judge did this for the jury’s safety. The media have already identified some of the jurors with full names being listed. This could jeopardize the safety and outcome of the trial.

Journalist Meghann Cuniff chimed in and gave her thoughts on the matter. She called out blog sites for reposting the clip on social media, which gave more recognition to the jurors that had been recorded.

Meghann also specified that No Jumper was not the culprit of the spread, but the media had already been circulating the footage.

“Keep in mind it’s not like No Jumper posted the screenshot of the jurors and encouraged people to identify them. People were already doing that, and No Jumper reported it was going on, with screenshots as receipts,” she wrote.

We are unsure how this will play out in future trials and if the jurors will be replaced for their safety and well-being.
