Florida rapper Jackboy is back in the headlines after he was reportedly arrested!
According to XXL, the 26-year-old born Pierre Delince was apprehended by Florida’s Port St. Lucie Police Department and was charged with burglary and cyberstalking on Saturday.
“Burglary of an occupied dwelling unarmed and stalking of the cyber variety,” his charges read.
The charges appear to be related to a recent event of domestic abuse against an unidentified romantic interest. Delince posted a $5,000 bond and was freed the same day he was detained. This isn’t the first time the Haitian rapper was arrested. According to TMZ, he was arrested in March of 2021 for gun possession after his driver failed to “stay in his lane” during a traffic stop in Georgia.
“Pierre Delince was a passenger in the vehicle in which the driver was given a warning for an alleged traffic violation. Another passenger in the vehicle admitted to ownership of the 2 guns found in the glove box, yet inexplicably, Mr. Delince was charged,” His lawyer, Drew Findling, shared.
In 2019, he also faced legal issues relating to drug possession and evidence tampering. During a reported traffic stop, he was allegedly caught trying to eat marijuana in Pompano Beach, Florida. After he was caught by the police, he was ordered to open his mouth and discovered his attempt to swallow the weed. He was arrested and booked for possession of marijuana and tampering with physical evidence.
Although Jackboy has been quiet in terms of releasing music this year, Kodak Black recently called out his former protégé and deemed his street credit fake.
“You stole outta Sports Authority and went to Julie came home a gangster,” the “No Flocking” rapper claimed. He also argued that he “made” Jackboy.
