Swae Lee Responds To iLoveMakonnen Calling Him A Fake Friend

iLoveMakonnen may have rubbed some artists the wrong way after calling out certain rappers who had ghosted him in the past. The “Tuesday” MC mentioned Swae Lee, Post Malone, and producer Metro Boomin in an Instagram post. This comes after iLoveMakonnen’s collaboration with NBA YoungBoy.

The 34-year-old artist jumped online to expose the fake friends in the industry. In the post, he shared an image of himself, along with an interesting revelation.

“I’m HIM and I Been HERE,” Makonnen’s caption read. “I ain’t do shit to yall! Y’all turned y’all back on me and held hands together. Unfollowed me and everything, now y’all see me with YB(the realist ni**a on earth) and start hitting me up like it’s all good. Damn, that shit painful to see, especially after we came up together in Atlanta in 2014 @postmalone @swaelee @metroboomin @nba_youngboy.”

Also, in the post, he made sure to share text messages from both Post Malone and Swae Lee. In those messages, it appears that iLoveMakonnen was congratulated for his NBA YoungBoy collaboration, but it showed how the singer might have been ignored before he got the feature.

SwaeLee called iLoveMakonnen after he leaked their messages calling him “fake.”

“Bro I was saying that to you goofy, not for any reason besides spreading love I’m good in the game. I knew you when you was throwing up on shrooms, bro relax tf I saw you on the TL heard the new jam and privately told you it was hard” Rae Sremmurd member Swae Lee said in the comment section.

iLoveMakonnen replied to Swae Lee, seemingly done dealing with fake rap friends.

“Well chop it up,” he said. “It’s love it’s just a conversation. Don’t be mad that the only way I get support is if some drama going on. U know the music fire, and u know everybody been tryna deny it. It ain’t no beef. U stay up too.”

Post Malone and Metro Boomin have yet to respond to the wishy-washy friends’ message.
