Gucci Mane Shuts Down Fan Trying To Rap For Him

Gucci Mane wasn’t feeling some freestyle bars from a fan during one of his promotional runs.

The self-proclaimed Trap God was hosting an album event signing in Atlanta for the new Breath of Fresh LP, and one fan, in particular, thought it was a good idea to show off his freestyle skills to the trap music pioneer. Gucci let the aspiring artist know that his random freestyle was not appropriate at that specific moment. As the fan tries to audition for the 1017 Global Music, founder Gucci urges him to stop shaking his head and verbally expressing his views.

“Aye, we ain’t doing that. Not right now, not right now,” the 43-year-old MC said, urging the fan to stop the spontaneous freestyling.

Usually, the rapper is open to hearing the new generation to recruit for his label, but seems like this just wasn’t the right moment.

Gucci Mane is coming off celebrating his own 10/17 day, thanks to the Atlanta City Council. The East Atlanta rapper also promoted his album by having a special performance where he made peace with former rival T.I. and brought him out on stage with him to perform. Gucci also had surprising performances from Quavo, Latto, and Key Glock.

His 16th album, Breath of Fresh Air, has guest appearances from Kodak Black, J. Cole, 21 Savage, the late Young Dolph, and slew of others.
