Two trap music pioneers have come together to put their differences aside following long-standing tension.

Gucci Mane and T.I. let go of the beef after Gucci’s performance to celebrate the release of his 16th album.

During his show in Atlanta ‘Mr. Zone 6’ surprised the concertgoers by introducing T.I. on the stage. The trap music veterans had a brief conversation before shaking hands on stage in front of the crowd. T.I. went on to get the crowd hype before he performed his hit “24’s”.

Gucci shared the moment on his Instagram story, where he added the text “Much respect @tip [cold face emoji].

The night was filled with many more surprises throughout the show. Atlanta artists like Latto and Quavo hit the stage in support of the East Atlanta rapper. Gucci also received a proclamation from the Atlanta City Council declaring Oct. 17 Gucci Mane Day. It was all in support of his double album, Breath of Fresh Air. It’s Guwop’s first project since 2021 and features guest appearances from Lil Baby, J. Cole, 21 Savage and more.

The more than a decade-old feud stemmed from T.I. ‘s relationship with Young Jeezy, who was in a rival with the self-proclaimed Trap God. Gucci would go as far as making a diss song aimed at Jeezy and name-drop the Grand Hustle founder. Things further escalated when the topic of who invented trap music became a debate. Gucci Mane would later claim that he was the originator of the genre, which led to T.I. chiming in and sharing his opinions.

The infamous feud with Jeezy has since been settled back in 2020, around the time the pair did a Verzuz together. Now it seems like the “I Get The Bag” MC has made amends with both trap music pioneers.
