Funk Flex Blasts Jada Pinkett Smith, Calls Her ‘Worst Type of Woman’

Funk Flex blasted Jada Pinkett Smith as he shared some “advice” for this very married actress!

The legendary Hot 97 DJ blasted Jada Pinkett Smith after she publicly responded to the latest update in the 1996 Tupac Shakur shooting case.

“This is the worst type of woman!” the legendary DJ said. “Always focused on an old guy! Stay focused on Will! He’s alive and here!”

Pinkett-Smith who was a childhood friend of Shakur was one of many to respond to the long awaited case update.

“Now I hope we can get some answers and have some closer.  R.I.P. Pac,” she wrote.

Pinkett-Smith’s short acknowledgment angered Flex, who felt that she should tend to her husband of 26 years, Will Smith and not an old “guy,” let alone “friend.”

Since his death, the mother of two publicly reminisced about their friendship/connection. Their friendship made the A-list actor jealous of their close connection.

“Though they were never intimate, their love for each other is legendary – they defined ‘ride or die,’” Smith wrote in his memoir. “In the beginning of our relationship, my mind was tortured by their connection. He was PAC! and I was me.”

After his public outburst, Flex’s criticism was met with mixed emotions from social media. Social media users that sided with Flex, not only agreed, but commented that Pinkett-Smith was for “the streets.”

However, fans of Shakur and Smith came to her defense, and in return blasted Flex as they pointed out she simply wanted justice for her best friend.

Those that publicly reacted to the long awaited arrest was Tupac’s sister, Sekyiwa Shakur.

“This is no doubt a pivotal moment,” Sekyiwa said.”The silence of the past 27 years surrounding this case has spoken loudly in our community.

“It’s important to me that the world, the country, the justice system, and our people acknowledge the gravity of the passing of this man, my brother, my mother’s son, my father’s son. His life and death matters, and should not go unsolved or unrecognized. So yes, today is a victory but I will reserve judgement until all the facts and legal proceedings are complete,” she added.
