The 6 God was quite victorious after he took home five of the 14 awards he was nominated for during Sunday’s Billboard Awards!

Drake won five of 14 awards during the 2023 Billboard Awards. The 37-year-old won the top rap artist, top male rap artist, top rap touring artist, top rap album and top rap song awards.

The celebratory night resulted in Drake and Taylor Swift earning 39 awards throughout their careers, and both superstars became the two artists that earned the most Billboard Awards.

According to Billboard, Drake and Swift have been charting rivals since the 2000s.

As he released his Scary Hours 3, he mentioned the career similarities on the track “Red Button” and how she is the “only artist” to make him push back a potential album date.

“Taylor Swift the only ***** that I ever rated/ Only one could make me drop the album just a little later/ Rest of y’all, I treat you like you never made it/ Leave your label devastated/ Even when you pad the stats, period, I never hated,” he rapped.

Quickly following the momentum of the release of his eighth album, For All of The Dogs, Drake surprised fans as he released Scary Hours 3 — which serves as a reissue of For All The Dogs — on Friday.

On the EP, he took shots at rivals such as Kanye West, Kendrick Lamar, Joe Budden and Pusha T.

Drake made headlines recently after his public feud with Joe Budden due to the harsh criticism the podcast host shared online, to even showing off his new face tattoo.

He recently added 10 more dates to his It’s All a Blur — Big as the What? Tour and now as he announced J. Cole as his co-headliner.
