New music from Drake givees more incite about his relationship with former collaborator Kanye West.

Drizzy dropped off six more songs, calling it the For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition. One of the tracks that has people talking is “Red Button.” In the lyrics, the international rap star discusses his friendship and tension with Kanye.

He uses the beginning of the song to address his frenemy Ye and mentions that the attempts to make amends were all insincere

“Every time that Yeezy called a truce, he had my head inflated,” he rapped on the Ovrkast and Lil Yachty curated beat. “Thinkin’ we gon’ finally peace it up and get to levitatin’/Realize that everything premeditated/Everyone was good with me, then everyone expression faded/Tickin’ time bomb and they beggin’ me to detonate it If I press this red button/Dog, everybody Heaven Gated/Press this red button, dog, and everything forever changes.”

The record further explains the complexity of the long-standing beef with the Chicago rapper that has gone on for years now.

Kanye’s 2016 album, The Life of Pablo, features a writing credit from the 6 God on “30 Hours”. Things seemed to be competitive with the pair around this time, but things switched when Ye went on a rant and insinuated that Drake was getting the attention he was getting by doing some behind work to get his songs on the radio more frequently. The two continued to work together in some capacity, but things went left when Drake felt as if his music releases were intentionally interfering with his and then, of course, the issues with Pusha T sent the conflict over the top.
