Trump surrendered himself to the authorities on Thursday, where he was detained, fingerprinted and had his mug shot taken. Everyone is enjoying the comedy in his facial expression. But, circumstances are getting hard for the 45th President of the United States. Trump is facing serious charges that could land him years in prison.
Trump was arrested at Fulton County Jail with felony charges in connection with efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results in Georgia. He was indicted on 91 federal and state convictions. If convicted of these crimes, Trump would be given over 600 years in the prison system. Though he might not face all the allotted time if charged, he would possibly spend the rest of his life behind bars. He will allegedly continue to run for President in the 2024 election from jail. It is known that Trump is the first president to be indicted and charged with multiple felonies.
