DaBaby has decided to make a change in lifestyle by giving up alcohol after a recent night that gave him quite the hangover the day after.

The “SHAKE SUMN” rapper announced on his Instagram story to his more than 20 million followers. DaBaby shared the experience from the bed with his daughter, who he said cheered him on because he had to pull over to throw up. He recalls vomiting in his Maybach and stumbling out of the luxury whip with his pants down.

“It’s official, bro, I don’t drink no more. Hell nah,” the 31-year-old rapper confessed. “I don’t drink no more, dog. So if you offer me a drink. When I got my appearances, don’t try to give me no bottles, don’t dry to give me no shot. I don’t drink from this point forward. I’m stealing the **** out. It’s simple as that… You better not be drunk ’cause I’m gonna be sober. I’m stealing off sober.”

“I go pick my baby up,” DaBaby explained. “I’m throwing up on [Interstate] 77. She beside me in her car seat talking ’bout some ‘Good job.’ I’m fighting for my life in that back seat, and my baby talking about, ‘Good job.’ Man, it’s embarrassing in front of my baby. I don’t drink no more.”

He doubled down on having a dry December from here on out and revealed that the drinking caused him to be on bed rest.

“I do not drink no more. Got me on bed rest,” he continued. “Real talk, throwing up in my Maybach and getting out the car with my pants halfway down. What the fuck wrong with me, dog?”

This comes after the North Carolina rapper appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay and reflected on the homophobic remarks he made during his 2021 Rolling Loud Miami performance. He told the former athlete that he lost $200 million but looked at the incident as a blessing in disguise.
