Crip Mac was arrested on Dec. 5 after a court appearance stemming from a Sept. 3 arrest.

A Los Angeles County judge decided to drop gun charges on a state level against the 30-year-old internet sensation; he was quickly handcuffed and taken into custody for being a felon in possession of an unregistered weapon and ten rounds of ammunition, according to the indictment.

“Defendant HURD possessed such ammunition knowing that he had previously been convicted of at least one of the following felony crimes,” the indictment read.

He was then informed that the state of California dropped its charges against him; however, the feds then picked up the charges.

The indictment also revealed and explained Crip Mac’s five previous arrests, which include attempted second-degree armed robbery dating back to 2014.

After fans learned about Crip Mac’s arrest, they quickly gathered thousands of signatures to reduce the charges.

Crip Max now faces a minimum sentence of 15 years behind bars for a third gun charge.
