The good news is that Chrisean Rock will not be put behind bars. The bad news is that she will be under the thumb of a probation officer for the next four years.
On Thursday, Urban Islandz reported that Rock has avoided jail time after pleading guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance without a tax stamp and possession with the intent to distribute. In addition to probation, she was ordered to complete 120 hours of community service at a homeless shelter and fork over $991 in fines to the Craig County District Attorney’s office.
The reality TV star, born Chrisean Malone, was not present in court, but attorney Ken Gallon stood in her place. Gallon argued that Rock’s clean criminal record rendered incarceration unnecessary.
In February of 2022, the “Crazy In Love” star was arrested after stealing a car from on-again-off-again boyfriend Blueface and driving 1700 miles away. Blueface declined to press charges for the vehicle.
On Sunday, Rock gave birth to her first child, Chrisean Malone Jr., while livestreaming on Instagram since Blueface has threatened her with a custody battle and complained about his son’s name.
Unfortunately for Rock, more legal issues are on the horizon. She also faces charges of assaulting a woman at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas in May.
