Cardi B Confirms Split From Offset: ‘I’ve Been Single For A Minute Now’

The Bongos rapper confirmed her split from Offset amid separation rumors.

Cardi B confirmed her split from her husband, Offset, during an Instagram live over the weekend. According to the 31-year-old, she has been single for a “minute.”

“I don’t know if you guys have been getting clues from me, from my Lives, or from my Stories, when I put some certain music or find my unfollowings,” she began.

“When it comes for today’s events and stuff … I don’t know if it’s true. I don’t think it’s true; I don’t care to find out because I’ve been single for a minute now,” she confessed.

Cardi then explained her fear of sharing the news of her separation.

“But I have been afraid… Not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been, like, a sign,” she continued.

As separation rumors have circulated online, fans noticed that the two unfollowed each other on Instagram. 

Cardi then shared a cryptic message about outgrowing relationships, hinting at relationship problems with her husband. Go

“You know when you just outgrow relationships,” she wrote on her IG stories.

Offset then took to Instagram after the news and posted a clip from the cult classic film Scarface

“Hey, **** you, man! Who put this thing together? Me! Who do I trust? Me,” Al Pacino exclaimed.

According to the New York Post, Cardi B was subtly addressing the latest cheating rumors surrounding her husband Offset allegedly sleeping with ChriseanRock. 

Offset’s latest cheating scandal started when 

West Coast rapper Blueface, whom Cardi has collaborated with in the past, accused ChriseanRock of allegedly sleeping with Offset a few weeks ago on X.

“Being tatted ona *** is not a flex you literally ****** cardi B husband couple weeks ago I’m tired of ****** looking at me while they  ******* you get the rest of em gone asap please,” he tweeted. 

Offset denied the allegations with a tweet, claiming he never talked to or touched the Baltimore artist.

“I ain’t never talk or touch that lady. Real talk, man, you need help,” he tweeted.

According to Rolling Stone, Cardi B and Offset were first linked together in February 2017. 

Offset’s publicist reportedly hooked him up with the Bronx sensation, and the two attended the 2017 Super Bowl game together. 

Since their first date, Cardi B’s and Offset’s relationship quickly grew, and the couple tied the knot on Sept. 20, 2017, one month before their public engagement.

Throughout their five-year marriage, Offset has been accused of being unfaithful to Cardi. In Sept. 2017, a video of Offset and another woman surfaced online after someone allegedly hacked his iCloud account, according to Business Insider.

In January 2018, another video of him allegedly cheating on Cardi B surfaced online. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper responded to Offset’s cheating scandals and warned her cheating husband he’d lose her if he pulled a similar stunt during a concert.

“I let a  ***** know, though. You do that shit again, you gon’ lose your wife,” she said.

That same year, Cardi B was reportedly involved in a Queens strip club brawl with two sister bartenders after one of them allegedly slept with Offset. 

In 2022, Cardi pled guilty to assault in the third degree and reckless endangerment in the second degree. According to Page Six, Cardi threw a hookah at the sisters and paid her friend $5,000 to attack them physically.

The couple shares two children. They welcomed their first child, Kulture, on July 10, 2018. They welcomed their second child, Wave, on Sept. 4, 2020. 

The mother of two shared her enthusiasm and curiosity for a new life after her separation.

“I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. And yeah… I’m excited,” she added.
