In Boosie’s latest legal charge, he requested a dismissal of his criminal gun case to a federal judge. Judge Cathy Bencivengo denied the rapper’s request.

“Nothing in Mr. Hatch’s motion persuades this Court that these holdings are incorrect or that the Court otherwise has the right to disregard binding Ninth Circuit precedent here,” she affirmed.

Boosie’s attorney requested the dismissal before Judge Bencivengo, arguing in defense of the Second Amendment.

The Second Amendment is known as: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

On June 16, federal agents took him into custody due to other pending cases. They are attempting to charge Boosie with a felony for carrying a firearm.

He was arrested in a traffic stop, where the police found two loaded guns in the vehicle. He was then charged with felony possession of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, possession of ammunition by a prohibited person, and being an unlisted owner of a registered firearm​.

The federal agents moved to deny his bond, but a federal judge ruled in his favor. Boosie later posted the $100,000 bond and was released from federal custody.

His attorney motioned to remove the charge, citing the Second Amendment. However, they denied the motion and now Boosie will have to fight the charges in federal court.

Boosie Badazz is no stranger to defending himself in court, as he was able to beat a murder case in 2012. He alleged in an interview with VladTV that he was able to beat his murder case by paying for a good lawyer, costing him over $250,000.

Boosie goes into detail on the expense of beating such a case, explaining that you must have a lot of money to pay off lawyers. He states that to beat a case, “they gonna need a hell of a lawyer.”

It seems like he is back in a similar position, but with a lighter charge this time. His lawyer has tried to have the case dismissed, but it seems like the San Diego judge will make him fight for his life in court.
