Boosie Badazz is sticking to his beliefs no matter what!

The 40-year-old rapper recently shared that he once declined a $250K gig after he was offered to perform for an LGBTQ event.

“Companies don’t wanna mess with me for the things I speak about,” he said. “It’s a lot of losses, and it’s a lot of gains also. But I’m not being real for money.”

“If that’s the case, I can sell my soul for anything. I’ve been offered a quarter-million to go to perform at LGBT community things, big money. I told them I have nothing against it at all, but that’s not what I push, and that’s not what I believe in,” he continued.

In a recent interview with The Danza Project, Boosie shared that he decided to stay true to his values because the appearance/performance went against his very beliefs.

Over the years, the controversial rapper faced backlash after he publicly not only accused the LGBTQ community of trying to control how others can comment on sexuality but also publicly condemned Dwyane Wade’s then 12-year-old daughter, Zaya, for choosing to use she/her pronouns.

In 2021, the Baton Rouge rapper publicly argued that the minor was “too young” to make such a life-changing decision.

“At 12, they don’t even know what they next meal is gonna be,” he argued. “They don’t have **** figured out yet…He hasn’t made his final decisions yet.”

During his rant, Boosie was accused of being transphobic after blatantly disregarding Zaya’s request to identify as she/her. Boosie also faced heavy criticism after he blasted Lil Nas X for performing “naked” during his “Montero” performance during the 2021 BET Awards. Badazz shared his thoughts on the 24-year-old’s set.

“If I’m at an awards [show] and he go up there naked, I’m a drag his ass offstage and beat his ***,” he exclaimed during his rant. You let a n***a dance naked in front your children, you a mother******* crazy mother****** — or you like **** too.”

Despite not backing down, Badazz doubled down and supported the LBGTQ community. 

“People have to understand that it’s not the same stroke for the same folk,” he said. “My ******’ assistant manager is gay as ****. Like, bruh. I don’t know where people get that from.”

“He understands me; he know I don’t have any ill will toward those people. He deals with money. He deals with business. It ain’t never looked at like that. I trust gay people more than I trust regular people,” he continued.
