Ever since their interview, fans have been speculating that Bobbi Althoff and Drake have been romantically involved. The viral interview has been erased from YouTube, and the two unfollowed each other on social media after Bobbi attended Drake’s concert.
Althoff appeared on the BFFs Podcast, where she shared her experience on how she got Drake in her viral video. Following her interview with Dave, he remarked in another video that he heard rumors about Drake and Bobbi sleeping together.
“I asked her. I DMed Bobbi. … She’s like, I’m not commenting on that publicly,” he told his podcast costars.
He was then censored at the end of the video, insinuating that the rumors were true. Fans continued to speculate about what could have possibly happened between Bobbi and Drake.
Some fans think that they did have an affair, while others think that Drake liked her, but she was not interested due to being married. Althoff then takes the initiative and posts the messages between her and Dave.
“My girlfriend says you hooked up with Drake and got divorced. I am saying that is not true,” Dave inquired.
“I am not commenting publicly but off the record, you’re right that is not true,” Bobbi replied.
Since the disclosure of their messages, Dave has come forward to apologize for fueling lies and rumors on his podcast.
“I owe @bobbialthoff an apology,” Dave’s apology continued, “She’s been in the news about her and @drake unfollowing each other after doing a pod together. All sorts of rumors about it. I asked her about it directly. She answered directly. Our social media team edited the clip to make it seem juicy which is bullshit. I freaked out on Austin the second I saw it. We did her dirty.”
Bobbi also spoke out about how she did not want to do the BFFs Podcast, as she knew nothing good would come from it. Maybe she was right.
