Blueface Stabbing Suspect Arrested

Less than a day after Blueface was stabbed while training at a Los Angeles-area boxing gym, an arrest has been made in the case.

Brandon Henry Snell was taken into custody on Wednesday afternoon, just hours after the incident. According to TMZ, the 36-year-old posted bond and was released on Thursday.

Blueface, born Jonathan Porter, shared a video of the violent encounter on an Instagram story. A man believed to be Snell can be seen walking into Kaminsky Boxing Gym in Reseda along with a dog, and then approaching the rapper.

In Porter’s narration of the clip, he states that Snell asked him, “Do you wanna fight?”

A verbal altercation follows, with another man getting between the two. Porter, while still wearing boxing gloves and a weight vest from his training session, reaches around the third man and punches Snell multiple times. Snell then pulls an object from his pants pocket. The video cuts off as he walks towards Porter.

In the following Instagram story, Blueface shows off a bloody wound with gauze while saying, “It’s just a leg shot guys, I’ll be ok.”

The “Crazy In Love” star was preparing for a boxing match against TikTok personality Salt Papi. Although his injuries weren’t life-threatening, they were serious enough to delay the bout that had been scheduled for Oct. 14.

“I won’t be able to fight October 14th due to a injury won’t have enough time to heal don’t say I ducked none bro came with a dog an a knife at 10am,” Blueface captioned the surveillance footage.

The 26-year-old is currently undefeated in a pair of exhibition matches and has been juggling a reality show, two tumultuous relationships, and the upcoming birth of a child with Chrisean Rock.
