Antonio Brown is back in the headlines following his recent arrest.
Over the weekend, the former football player was arrested outside of his Florida home after a warrant was issued for his arrest on failure to pay child support. The mother of the child shared her frustration with Brown, and her want of him being placed behind bars if he couldn’t make the payments.
“I do want him arrested,” Wiltrice Jackson told TMZ. “Because, right now, he’s making a mockery out of the judge, out of everything, because he feels like he’s untouchable.”
The 35-year-old was booked in Broward County, and was released on $15,000 bond according to NBC News.
Jackson reportedly gave birth to Brown’s daughter, Antanyiah in 2008. According to the frustrated mother, Brown owes approximately $31,000.
She also revealed that she wants Brown to be an “active parent” in Antanyiah’s life. Jackson also revealed that their 15-year-old daughter is involved in track and field at her high school, and has garnered attention from approximately 80 colleges.
“By him having a daughter like an athlete like her, you would think he’d be in her corner to support her,” she said.
Brown is no stranger to the law. A warrant for Brown’s arrest was issued by Florida police in 2022 due to alleged domestic abuse allegations. However, the charges were later dropped.
In 2020, the 35-year-old also got into an argument with a driver of a moving truck, which resulted in charges of burglary with violence, burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, and criminal mischief.
After he pleaded no contest, he was ordered to pay $1.2 million to the driver, and he was ordered to serve two years of probation.
He was also accused of allegedly raping and sexually assaulting his former personal trainer, Britney Taylor in 2019. According to Reuters, Taylor claimed that these alleged incidents include Brown allegedly raped her in his Miami home back in 2018, forcibly kissed her in 2017.
She filed a federal lawsuit against Brown in the state of Florida, however the two reached a settlement in 2021.
